My name is Christina Parkinson, and I'm the owner here at Salon Remedy.

I have been doing hair for 12 years. Hair was never a dream of mine growing up. Honestly, school wasn't my strong point! I went to college and played softball for half a year and then decided I needed something different, so that's when I decided I wanted to do hair. I went in, not knowing anything. But quickly discovered it was a passion.

I have four kids and have been married to my husband for 13 years. He was the one who pushed me to open my salon. All during Covid too. Talk about scared to death. We found somewhere to lease for three years, and I knew I wanted something bigger and different that I could make my own. So our new location is exactly that. My own little space I created.

At 35, I realized trends are constantly changing, so I think my spot welcomes all ages! Opening the salon was never my dream, but to have somewhere that is welcoming and that I can call mine is so rewarding. I have some talented stylists and am so thankful they chose my little dream to be a part of. Together, we are a family. And we will always take care of our clients. After all, y'all make this career possible for us. 💕
